Integrating education of youth and college students, we established 254 acres of reduced fuel below the community of Forest Ranch. Funding was provided by California Climate Investments. Fall 2018 – Fall 2020.

McKenzie Ridge Fuels Treatment

Working to improve the conditions of the Giant Sequoia National Monument, we reduced fuels and improved forest resilience in 726 acres of a high mortality area adjacent to homes and the Sequoia Kings National Park through prescribed burning. Funding was provided by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, including Pacific Southwest Fuels Management Partnership, and the Wells Fargo Resilient Communities. Summer 2018 – Fall 2020.

We created a fuels break along Garland road and across BLM land through fuels treatment and prescribed fire. Funding was provided by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy.
